You are a gracious people whose hospitality is second to none. During my time with you I came to appreciate the many talents present in the congregation. There is no end to what you can do together as you make your talents available in service to others in Christ's name and spirit. As I thought of yesterday (Sunday) I recalled the fine music prepared for the morning service and the spirit of gratitude so many expressed to me and Betty. As we enjoyed the luncheon together and had time to just talk to one another, I stored many memories that will be called out when I am reminded of you through the days to come. Thank you for all you did to make my stay with you so meaningful. I especially want to thank Sheila Moncrief for all her help and direction as I tried to meet the needs of the congregation. She is a jewel of rare value. Thank you also for the wonderful meals you prepared during our time together, especially the one for the choir and the luncheon on Sunday. Let me know when you are to have another general feast and I will do my best to join you! My best to each of you and especially to Jonathan and Susan as they begin their ministry among you. Give them your best support and help so that they can excel in service to you in our Lord's name.
